Kate was discovered in 1988 at the age of 14 by Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Model Management, at JFK Airport in New York CityKate’s career began when Corinne Day shot black-and-white photographs of her for the British magazine, The Face,when she was 15.

FAMOUS FOR?

The waif look in 1993 (which prompted much speculation over her weight) with a highly publicised campaign for Calvin Klein.

In 2005, Kate made the cover of the British Newspaper, The Daily Mirror.  Photos were published of her using cocaine with her boyfriend Pete Doherty.

In 2007, Kate collaborated with Topshop and helped launched a line that was inspired by her own wardrobe and unique sense of style.
