Christmas at Tiffany’s

Tiffany’s. It says it all already. It’s the store that every girl wishes her boyfriend or husband would visit more often. It is such a beautiful place that just being in it makes you feel like you’re somewhere special. Everything in the store melts your heart. Everything sparkles and shines and makes nothing else matter for that brief moment of time.

One of my all time favourite movie, “Breakfast At Tiffany’s” (starring Audrey Hepburn, 1961) is a movie made about the store. Need I say more? The movie is about a girl known as Holly Golightly, played by Audrey Hepburn and her quest to find a rich man to marry and of course her love for the Tiffany store. And every girl knows what colour Tiffany blue is.

So gentlemen, if you ever want a gift that will melt your girl’s heart and leaving her wanting more, visit Tiffany’s. Tiffany’s recently opened up another store in the Yorkdale Mall location. It is a much more esthetically beautiful looking store compared to the Bloor Street location, although the Bloor Street location has alot of history behind it. Plus, who won’t want to be surrounded by all those beautifully expensive designer stores on Bloor Street. It definitely makes much more of a statement to have such neighbours.

When you enter Tiffany’s, you are instantly greeted by a host or a hostess who asks you if you need help. If you’re answer is yes, then she walks you over to the “Ambassador” who, with a clipboard in hand takes down your name so that the next available sales attendant can serve you. So there you are, waiting for your name to be called. I think this happens so that you can have another chance to look at all the jewellery that are sitting in the cases and calling your name so that you can talk yourself into buying something. Then, your name is called. You’re not just a number at Tiffany’s. You’re a person.
